His Character
Pips concept art was focused around simple shapes, with the intention that the focus would lie in his clothing/objects.
Pip was meant to be this cute small animal, that would kick you in the shins if you called him small or cute. He feels like he has to prove that he is more than just cute, by being a great wizard. He is very stubborn, and doesn’t want anyone’s help. Because of this, Pip struggles a lot with his magic, making him a bad wizard.
Motivation
At the time that I made Pip, I really struggled to understand Zbrush. That’s what started this project. I wanted to force myself to use Zbrush more. I needed the time and space to be able to make mistakes, and to learn from them. I thought a course in Zbrush, with a teacher that can help me with the problems I have, is exactly what I needed.
